How To: Paint Human Skin
Hey everyone! This tutorial will go over how to paint both lighter and darker human flesh-tones. I'll be using a mixture of layering and glazing for this tutorial, as well as a combination of Citadel and Reaper paints. These techniques and colors can be modified to give you a quick table-top quality figure all the way to a display piece, depending on the time you invest into your blends.

New Business and Page!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't disappeared! I'm currently working on starting up my own (official) commission painting business! I've obviously been painting miniatures for many years (I started around 10 years ago) and have been doing miniature commission painting since around 2012 on and off, but I've gotten the entrepreneurial bug and have decided to go all in with it! I'm currently working on getting my studio redesigned to be more functional, as well as work on a price sheet and new test models to help future customers price out potential commissions easier. I've also created a new Facebook page to help keep people updated if you want to check it out and give it a like! Thanks for reading again!

Happy Holidays and a quick recap!
Hey people! Well it seems I certainly failed on keeping this blog updated as I had hoped. This year has been quiet crazy for me to say the least. I just recently graduated from university and am now on the job hunt! Over the next few days I'll try to be posting some updates related to small commission works or just models I've painted over the past year but never got the chance to post. I may also do a small recap of the CMON Expo I attended earlier this year as well. Thanks for tuning in and hopefully I can make good on my original plan! - In the meantime, here are some pictures of Ama No Zako from the Malifaux miniature line I painted as a quick table top gaming commission in July I believe. Happy Holidays and I hope your year was one to remember!
(Be sure to click the post to see a few more pics of Ama No Zako!)

Eldar Fire Dragons WIP - Bases
Hey people! Just wanted to give you all a quick update on my Eldar Fire Dragons. I got the go ahead to paint them as the Shrine of the Burning Lance and I'm pretty stoked! I got them all primed up and have the bases about 95% done - the only thing left is to put some snow on them - but that will have to wait until the rest of the models are completely done. I'm hoping to have some orange on them by the end of tomorrow so expect another update soon.
Old CMON Model - Librarian Turmiel
Hey guys! I decided I would post up an old mini I painted a little over a year ago. I was trying my hand at a couple techniques with some new paints I had just acquired - including some NMM gold and some light source effects seen on the hand and grenades. The pictures don't quiet pick everything up (especially the shading/highlighting of the armor) but I'm happy with how it turned out for a test model, and even happier that it currently has an 8.3 rating. Sorry if the pictures are not quiet up to par as this was my old camera and light set up, but I figured some of you might still enjoy taking a look!
